Kimberly has led and participated in numerous actions for public education, and you can be sure that supporting students is at the heart of everything she does.

With a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership, Kimberly is a well-rounded educator. She has put in the time to learn about all job classifications in our schools, offices, maintenance, and transportation facilities. In 2016, Kimberly once again returned to serve students as a school librarian, completing 11 years in the library in addition to her 5 years in the classroom. Add in almost 6 years as the local President, and Kimberly's nearly 22-year career has strengthened public schools for every child.

Kimberly also served as the President of the Fairfax County Council of PTAs in 2016, working with the parent community alongside teachers and staff to improve our schools and help our students thrive. Her commitment to our schools and students is evidenced by her continued service. She believes in the motto of the PTA - "Make Every Child's Potential a Reality."

Kimberly will always work to ensure that every child has a high-quality school experience, as the NEA says, "no matter their zip code." Together we must continue to build a strong future for ALL of our students.
